How we started: Our origin dates back to 1988. In that year we opened a professional one-hour photo lab with a camera store in downtown London. The success of this operation meant that the lab needed a new location and the business was moved to its present location. At this time our customers could get quality black and white film developed and printed in one hour in addition to seeing the latest film cameras. This was the beginning of Forest City Image Centre as we know it today.

Today we are a leader in the Canadian photo industry and have grown to service Canadian customers nationwide. Since the beginning, we have prided ourselves on our quality of photofinishing and commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Our motto from the early days, “Expert, Personal, Friendly Service “ is at the very heart of our company.

In July 2003 we launched “CAMERACANADA.com”, Canada's Dot Com for Cameras and in 2005 we launched this website CAMERACANADA PRINT LAB. Camera Canada now offers services for all your traditional and digital needs on-line in addition to the London photo lab and retail store.
